UHH. is that Prince Eric in the background?
“I always loved Disney but now I’m starting to think I should just grow up and leave the childish stuff behind”
I used to think this, and then I realized being an adult all the time is no goddamn fun. Just because I’m a grownup doesn’t mean I have to listen to NPR and read the newspaper. I’m going to love Disney until forever, it’s not Childish. Whatsoever =)
I’m a sucker for a decent conspiracy theory, and Brad Meltzer’s #Decoded is my new crack
Major Award of the Day: Redditor mjr214 says: “My friend only has 1 leg. This is her Halloween costume.”
I had no idea they celebrated Halloween in Italy.

NOOOOOOOOOO! I LOVE friendly’s!!!! D’:
End Of An Era? of the Day: Despite what the jingle would have you believe, it seems not enough people want to go to Friendly’s these days. The iconic Northeast eatery has just filed for bankruptcy, and announced the closure of 63 restaurants.
Though it looks pretty bad for the makers of Fribbles, 424 locations are expected to remain open for the time being; and confidence in the restructuring remained strong.
But there is plenty of work to be done if the 76-year-old equity firm-owned ice-cream parlor chain expects to turn its business around. “It’s horrible,” CRG Partners turnaround specialist Gene Baldwin told Reuters. “The facilities are terrible and need to be redone.”
“This is not, in my mind, about Friendly’s disappearing,” adds consultant Dennis Lombardi. “In fact, I think it’s reasonably likely that we’ll see Friendly’s a stronger brand five years from now.”
Amazing Animal Story of the Day: Realizing that she would not be able to care for her kittens, a cat found abandoned in March, Cambridgeshire, after being tossed from a moving car led an RSPCA official to her newborns so they could be rescued.
The injured feline — named Jolie by staff members — was taken in to an RSPCA facility for treatment, but was later returned to the site where she had been found so she could reunite with her kittens.
Sensing she would need help caring for them, Jolie called out to Inspector Jon Knight. “When she started to get really vocal at first I thought she was calling to the kittens, but then it became clear that she was actually calling to me,” Knight told Ely Weekly News.
I began to follow her and she took me through the rear garden, across a ploughed field and into a farm yard. All the time she was calling me and waiting for me to follow.
Jolie led Knight to a stack of wood in an old farm machinery barn, behind which he found her litter.
“There is absolutely no way I would have found these kittens without this cat’s help,” he said. “She was a huge distance away from the garden she had first been found in, and was clearly doing all she could to lead me to her kittens.”
The four severely dehydrated kittens were revived at the RSPCA Block Fen Animal Centre, “where they will stay until they are all fit, healthy and old enough to be rehomed.”
Reliant k better be worth standing in the middle of this sea of man-sweat. #justsaying #reliantk #rtu
